Virat Kohli, who promptly known as “King of Cricket” has smashed back to back two consecutive century against South Africa and a half century in 3 match ODI series. After that, he again smashed a century against New Zealand while chasing but India fell sort with 41 runs. He has also got out in 90’s in 1st ODI against New Zealand. He was seen in good touch while batting in both of these ODI series. Currently he was giving his prime Era vibes where he smashed centuries in all formats of cricket like a “cup of tea”.

Recently, we have seen him struggling in ODI series against Australia where he got out at “Duck” in two consecutive ODI matches first time in his 15 years of cricketing career. This shows that how much big player he is in international cricket. But, actually we call him legend. A GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), who born in century and make cricket so popular, that Olympics committee has to include cricket in Olympic games.

We have seen his prime 2.0 version where he made his comeback by hitting his 1st T20 international century against Afghanistan. We have also seen his iconic knock against Pakistan in T20I world cup league matches at Melbourne where he smashed two consecutive sixes to Haris Rauf in a critical situation. Later, after winning T20I world cup 2024, he take retirement from T20I.

But he has not make comeback in Test cricket like his standards where he smashed 7 double centuries in Test cricket which is highest by any Indian player in Test. That’s why he take early retirement from Test cricket. But wait, now his prime 3.0 starts after taking retirement from Test and T20I. Now he giving is prime Era vibes of 2016-19 where he smashed 36 centuries with 10603 runs.

Now, it will be enjoyable to watch him in IPL that how he approach there and can he make a new record there by smashing 1000 runs in a IPL 2026 and break his own record of highest runs in single edition of IPL, where he scored 973 runs in IPL 2016 with four centuries.

Say whatever, but “KING OF CRICKET” is giving his prime Era vibes. And in IPL 2026, we will see a “Virat Kohli: The 3.0 New Version” just like IPL 2016.
